this class offers a supportive and nurturing space for mums-to-be. Let yoga enhance the experience of this precious time and empower you to have the most conscious birth experience. Yoga can help women enjoy their pregnancy with minimal discomfort, cultivate breath awareness and strengthen the body in preparation for labour. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners from the 2nd trimester.

WINTER WARMER WORKSHOP.

JOIN US ON WINTER SOLSTICE TO WARM UP AND WIND DOWN FOR CHRISTMAS. WARMING UP WITH A NOD TO THE TRADITIONAL 108 SUN SALUTATION SOLSTICE PRACTICE (WE WONT BE DOING ANYWHERE NEAR THE 108!) BEFORE MELTING INTO RESTORATIVE POSES AND A LONG RELAXATION.

CLASS PASSES AND MEMBERSHIPS CAN BE USED ON THIS WORKSHOP.

Following this workshop we will be heading for Brunch at Gloucester Quays. It’s not compulsory and you’re welcome to join us!

5 WEEK FOUNDATION COURSE.

saturday 4th January- saturday 1st february 2020. 9:15am-10:15am.

LEARN THE BASICS, EXPERIENCE THE VARIETY OF STYLES AT THE STUDIO AND TRY HOT YOGA TOO. Develop a strong and safe practice IN A PRIVATE GROUP WITH A MAXIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE. 


What does the course involve?

WEEK 1: An introduction to yoga, we'll cover a few common poses, breathing techniques and briefly touch on the spiritual background and history of yoga.

WEEK 2: An introduction to hot yoga. Understanding the benefits of hot yoga, why we use infrared, and the difference in regular temperature and hot yoga

 WEEK 3: Style workshop- we'll cover some of the more popular styles at the studio and cover the benefits of the poses too.

WEEK 4: A strength and conditioning based class (not too intense and you'll be pro's by this point) the build toward those challenge poses of headstand, handstands safely.

 WEEK 5: We'll take on a challenge pose and work to achieve it safely. Celebrating the completion of the course after too.
